Happy New Year from Meadow Lake Resort

It was a magnificent summer in Montana! The resort was consistently nearing max occupancy July through September, bustling with owners and guests alike. It was a pleasure to see familiar faces and to have the opportunity to speak with many of you.  Owners at Meadow Lake truly make the resort a wonderful place to work.  With the busy and successful summer behind us and the snow accumulating all around, we are ready to put our focus on continuing to drive projects with the intention of improving your ownership at Meadow Lake. A majority of these projects are outlined in this newsletter.

Winter in Northwest Montana is off to an exciting start. Whitefish Mountain has over 100” of snow, resulting in one of the best season beginnings on record.  We pray to Ullr, god of skiing, to continue to provide us with a winter full of deep snow and good times. Winter is always a great opportunity to use Bonus Time at Meadow Lake, especially this year!

We are also excited to report that the Meadow Lake Bar & Grille had a record year in 2019, and expects to see a busy 2020. With that, I would like to introduce to you Russell Svoboda, our new Food and Beverage Director.  Russell started with us August 1st of 2019, and has quickly proven his culinary expertise.  Russell is a native of Great Falls, MT but honed his culinary skills at the Baltimore International Culinary College.  Since then, Russell has spent most of his career on the East Coast. Now, Russell is back home in Montana and has become a key member of the Meadow Lake family at the Meadow Lake Bar & Grille.

In other news, the Meadow Lake Golf Course is now under new ownership.  Tom and Gerlinde Waters purchased the course from longtime owner, Peter Tracy.  We on the resort side have had the opportunity to work with both Tom and Gerlinde.  We are excited about their vision for the future. There have been some questions about winter use of the golf course, so you will find allowable use as defined by Tom and Gerlinde outlined in this newsletter.

Recently, we announced via e-mail the closing of the sales department, effective January 1, 2020.  We would like to thank and recognize Ron Mallory for his unwavering commitment to both Meadow Lake Development Corporation and our Meadow Lake timeshare owners.  We recognize that many of you have relied on this service and we have an alternative option as explained in this newsletter.

Lastly, as always, we would like to thank you for your continued support.  Our Meadow Lake team is here to serve you. We look forward to working with you in this new decade, assisting you to make the most out of your ownership at Meadow Lake Resort, your Gateway to Good Times in the Flathead Valley.

Sincerely,

Chris Walters
